How mad would you be? Car broken down at home need to get to work?
You ring your breakdown service and find out that because you were too tight to pay extra you haven’t got cover for a home start!!
I’m mad as hell and it’s my fault!!
I’m cross because it’s wages day!
I need to get everyones wages in or the staff will shoot me!
My boss will be fine with me being late, unfortunately the bus service where I live (in the sticks) sucks.

Happened to me as well hun. Its a right pain in the back side, solid lump of car you cant do anything with! And stuck as you need to get in to work. To be fair if you pay for breakdown cover you should get breakdown cover no matter where! I got stung as I was to close to home….I mean WTF? they will also only take your car X amount of miles….Come on its all a rip off another way to make you part with your cash!

Well if you was going to be sacked if you didn’t get there then i would run for it or beg for a lift, otherwise i would phone office and say why you are late and hope that they believe you

I’d get to work, swallow your economy drive by buying the real deal and count to ten . . . or you could say to yourself . . . "I’m sick of this world, I’m going to emigrate, sell my house, car, the children and set up a beach bar in Antigua".

I would be mad as hell and kick myself in the process however that is not going to get you to work.
You could phone in explain say sorry and you will be in however you will be late.
Taxi?
Bus?
Friend can someone come and fetch you from office if they want wages they will?
They must understand that these things happen and it could have happened to anyone even the boss.
Do not beat yourself with a big stick they will do that for ya lol

easy for me either saddle up my neighbours horse and ride into work like the cavalry or borrow one of his john deer’s tractor and block the car park.

I would be absolutely hopping mad Gartom – I go to pieces at the best of times if I haven’t got my car – it is my independence after all!!! What a bummer for you – bet you get that Home Start added quick smart!!! Hope you get if fixed soon hun xx
